🤎Real Talk🤎

“The world told us softness was weakness. I think it might be strength.”

Somewhere along the way…

a lot of us were taught that being soft was dangerous.

That caring too much made us weak.
That crying made us fragile.
That kindness made us easy to hurt.

So we started hardening ourselves.

Not because we wanted to…
but because we thought we had to.

–🤎–

But can I tell you something?

Softness is not weakness.

There is nothing weak about loving deeply
in a world that sometimes feels cold.

There is nothing weak about staying kind
after life has hurt you.

And there is definitely nothing weak
about continuing to care
when it would be easier not to.

–🤎–

Some of the strongest people I know…

are soft.

They check on people.
They comfort others.
They still believe in love.
They still try.

Even after disappointment.
Even after heartbreak.
Even after being let down.

–🤎–

That kind of softness?

That takes strength.

Real strength.

I have been through a lot in my life,

and I could have let it harden me,

but I chose not too.

I will share these things with you later on in the blog.

My daughter is the softest, gentlest person I know

and she could be cold and hardened by her experiences.

But she chose to not let it harden her heart.

And I am proud of her.

–🤎–

The world will try to convince you
that you need to become harder to survive.

But maybe…

maybe your softness is the very thing
that makes people feel safe around you.

Maybe it’s your gift.

–🤎–

So don’t be ashamed of your gentle heart.

Be proud of your soft nature.

A lot of people will that know what a soft heart is too.

In this world of misery and hate,

This world needs more softness.
Not less.

🤎

🤎Gentle Reminder: Smile and be kind today, causes someone may need that smile.🤎
