You’re not Lazy, You’re Tired
May 5th 2026

Hey… can I say something that might feel a little different?
You’re not lazy.
You’re tired.
–🤎–
Tired of trying to keep up.
Tired of feeling like no matter what you do, it’s never enough.
Tired of carrying things no one else can see.
And after a while… that kind of tired starts to look like laziness from the outside.
But I know better, because I’ve lived it.
–🤎–
I’ve had days where even the smallest things felt heavy.
Days where my mind wouldn’t slow down…
where my body felt heavy…
and where I kept telling myself I just needed to “try harder.”
But trying harder doesn’t fix exhaustion.
And it doesn’t heal what’s underneath it.
Sometimes what looks like laziness…
is really burnout.
–🤎–
Sometimes it’s hurt.
Sometimes it’s overwhelm.
Sometimes it’s just being tired of carrying too much for too long.
And no one ever teaches you how to rest from that kind of tired.
So if you’ve been calling yourself lazy…
maybe it’s time to tell yourself the truth instead.
–🤎–
You’re tired.
And that doesn’t make you weak.
It makes you human.
And maybe… just maybe…
you deserve rest, not pressure.
🤎Gentle Reminder: You are allowed to rest!🤎
